Teresa's questions for me-
1) What would have been your ideal age to have your first child?
My Mom had me at 28. I had always envisioned having a child before that. Now that I am 28 and rolling forward to 29 I would like to have my first before 30.
2) What is your favorite way to distract yourself?
I like to read and get lost in a story.
3) How many relationships have you had?
I've dated a bit, but I have only had 2 real relationships.
4) If
you had to choose an ethnicity of food to eat from for the rest of your
life what would it be? ex. Mexican/Italian/Thai/Ethiopian, etc....
Italian- I can't live without pasta!
5) When you were 13 what were you wearing?
I was a rolling train wreck at 13. Im guessing jeans and a tee shirt with a giant scrunchie on the top of my head. Maybe for a future post I will dig up some of those fun photos.
6) What is the most adventurous thing you have ever done?
Zip lining in Mexico! I was scared to death, but had a blast!
7) Do you have a favorite artist?
I have a hard time with favorites in general. I like a lot of art though.
8) Do you think you take after your mother or your father more?
My father..I don't even look like my mom. I have some of her traits, but I mostly like my father.
9) If you could be a musical genius what instrument would you choose to play?
The piano- I have always wanted to learn how to play.
10) Would you rather travel by air, water or land? In what kind of vehicle?
Hmm. I guess all have their pros and cons, but I am always fond of a good old road trip in a large vehicle so I feel safer on the road. Nothing like the open road and the music blaring.
Since I had already been previously nominated for the Stork Award I'm not going to nominate any other bloggers at this time.Though I do reserve the right to revisit that in the future when I feel creative and I am not at work and can see who has/has not been nominated already.

Seven Things About Me-
1) I really truly could live in my sweat pants and over sized tee shirts. I do get dressed up, but I really don't do it for me. My husband loves when I put on a dress and some heels so from time to time I humor him and dress up. If super big sweat pants were okay to wear out and about please believe I would be sporting them.
2) I do love getting my manicures and pedicures. I almost always go for dark colors- grey, dark purples, dark blues.. I don't know what that says about me, but there you have it.
3) I love spending time with my husband and my friends, but I am absolutely perfectly content sitting by our fire place in silence reading a good book and sipping some wine.
4) I don't do well in large crowds. Its sensory overload and it becomes very overwhelming which leads to anxiety attacks. When we travel to Disney I plan our trip around the crowds and do whatever possible (including skipping rides or attractions) to avoid having people on all sides of me. I'm also pretty sensitive about it as well and hate when people notice that I am about to have a melt down.
5) Speaking of Disney-We are Disney freaks. I can not wait to bring my own children to Disney to see Mickey and Minnie :)
6) My dream job would be to travel and eat all around the worlds and write about the adventures.
7) I am the couponing queen. Why buy something for full price if I can get it for half that? I have recently converted my hubby to help me in my money saving ways!

Loving learning so many new things about you!! #3 & #6 sound like me!!
ReplyDeleteI hope to make 6 a reality somehow someday!
DeleteYay! Congrats on your awards!!!! I totally agree, why buy something full price when you can get it for cheaper!! yes ma'am!
ReplyDeleteThanks Caroline! I love bargain hunting!
DeleteThanks for the nomination! And I think that might be the best dream job ever. I wish I were better at couponing. I do okay online, but when it comes to actually clipping coupons, saving them, and remembering I have them, I'm abysmal.
ReplyDeleteYou so welcome! I bought a cute little coupon clutch and it keeps all my coupons super organized- it makes it so much easier to stay on top of it.
DeleteWhoa, thanks for the nomination! I'm traveling the next few days, but I'll get it up soon.
ReplyDeleteNo problem, don't feel obligated only if you want to participate!
DeleteWe went zip lining in Mexico on my honeymoon. My husband was also scared to death, but we had a blast :)
ReplyDeleteI loooooved zip lining! I would do it again for sure!
DeleteCongrats on your awards! I think immersing yourself in Disney is probably a really healthy way to conquer the crowd phobia, you think? hehe You are brave indeed! I commend you for that!
ReplyDeleteThanks Emily! I hope to break that phobia someday. I want my kids to have a healthy fear of large crowds- not my unhealthy fear of them.
DeleteNever been zip lining but it looks really cool!
ReplyDeleteIt really is a good time!
DeleteSo glad it worked for you! Congrats!
